Worlds collide when free-spirited nun Maria is made governess in the strict household of Captain von Trapp. Through music, play and an infectious zest for life she wins the confidence of the seven von Trapp children, and even softens the Captain’s guarded heart. But beyond the warmth and humour of this beloved musical lies a powerful tale of love and standing together when it matters most.
