Tesco Turns Pink Again Promoting Race For Life

Charity

Tesco turns pink again for the 17th year promoting Race For Life, in support of Cancer Research UK. The annual event is all part of Tesco’s partnership with Cancer Research UK. Over the years they have raised over £40m for the charity.

For any colleagues wishing to take part in the race Tesco pays the entrance fee, and over 300,000 have since the sponsorship began. Additional funds are raised with in-store events, staff fundraising activities and the sale of Cancer Research UK products available for customers to purchase.

Katie Houseman, Customer Services Manager said;

“Over the years I’ve been the proud ambassador of Leeds Happy Town Race for Life organising all Tesco stores; Extras, superstores and convenience, working together to raise awareness and raise as much as we can for Cancer Research UK. I’m looking forward to this years event.”
