OXYGEN FREEJUMPING LANDS IN LEEDS

EntertainmentLocal News

Leeds is set to reach new heights as Oxygen Freejumping, the UK’s leading chain of trampoline parks, has announced plans to open a new site at Cardigan Fields in the Summer of 2016. Oxygen is set to invest £1.5m in order to transform the 23,000 sq ft site into the ultimate trampoline park playground. Work will commence soon on the fit out and recruitment for up to 60 new jobs. This will be Oxygen’s 8th trampoline park in the UK.
The venue will provide fun for all ages with over 150 interconnected trampolines, dodgeball courts, airbags, club-level trampolines, and Ninja Warrior Courses.
Locals will also be able to learn Freerunning in Oxygen Freejumping’s bespoke Freerunning courses designed by the Founder of Freerunning & Parkour Pioneer and James Bond villain, Sebastien Foucan.
Whether hosting a birthday party, training for a gymnastics competition, learning parkour, trying a new fitness regime, Oxygen will have something for everyone and will ensure you enjoy every bounce.
There will also be sessions for Toddlers where the park comes to life for big and little kids, evening sessions with hours of strobe-lit bouncing, dodgeball games with a competitive and fun edge, and an Obstacle Course for those who want to set Leeds’ quickest time.
For those looking to sit back, relax and watch the action there will be a viewing gallery with great coffee, cakes and healthy snacks all prepared on site.
David Stalker, CEO of Oxygen Freejumping, says, “We are delighted to be coming to Leeds and we’re looking forward to helping locals discover the fun of Freejumping. We are currently fitting out five further parks in the North of England and will be opening in Derby, Wigan, Blackburn, North Shields and Trafford Park, Manchester soon.
“Freejumping is easy to do but impossible to master and fun no matter how old you are – whether it’s your first jump or you are a high flyer. We have the highest standards of quality and service, and guarantee that everyone leaves with a smile on their face.
“Our designs are done, plans are in place, and building starts soon…..so the countdown is on, see you in the Summer”.
Julie Garsden, Senior Portfolio Manager at Land Securities, owner of Cardigan Fields, comments, “Land Securities is really looking forward to welcoming Oxygen Freejumping to Cardigan Fields this summer. They provide a premium leisure offer for all ages that will be an exciting addition to our existing line up.”
The venue follows the success of the first two Oxygen sites in Acton and Southampton. In Acton alone there have been over 230,000 visitors since its opening in July 2015 and the club has surpassed every expectation. The site is part of Oxygen’s 2016 rollout that will see 13 Oxygen Freejumping sites by the end of 2016.
Once launched the park will be open from 8am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 8am – 9pm on Sundays.
