Leeds has been fortunate in terms of producing bands that have stood the test of time: Kaiser Chiefs, Pigeon Detectives and Pulled Apart by Horses: Get ready to add another to the list: They may indeed be the best of the lot: Menace Beach will not mean a lot to anybody at the moment: However, come the end of the year and we will all be wanting to see them. So, get in early. The band appear at The Brudenell Social Club on February 1st. If you can’t get along don’t be too dismayed as you can comfort yourself with Ratworld. Menace Beach’s debut album. It’s gritty, which finds the five-piece cackling insanely as everything around them disintegrates into hysteria. There’s plenty to get lost in here. Menace Beach’s debut may celebrate a world on the brink of pandemonium, but this is a band with their act together.
