Teams from all over Yorkshire competed against each other in the 1st It’s a Knockout challenge for The Yorkshire Haven breast cancer charity and helped raise nearly £8,000The weather on the day could not dampen anyone’s spirits as each team were tasked to jump across inflatables, getting covered in foam and donning the original BBC Giant costumes all in the name of The Yorkshire Haven.
Nicola Burns the fundraiser for the Yorkshire Haven said ‘from start to finish this event has been such a hilarious afternoon, to see everyone in such high spirits and getting completely covered in foam, thank you to everyone who helped to make this event so successful, we are also so grateful for all the spectators that turned up to support their colleagues and families at Temple Newsam’.
The teams that supported and going for glory included, Mothers mean Business, Optimisa Research, Garbutt and Elliott, Cougar Cosmetics, Ingeus and Myron Pure.
The event was won by CLG M&E contactors and ID maintenance who achieved the most points and who hope to regain their crown for next years It’s A Knockout.
