FANTASTIC FARMING FUN DAY AT SPRINGTIME LIVE!

Nearly 4,000 visitors enjoyed a fun-packed farming day at Springtime Live, kick starting the Easter weekend at the Great Yorkshire Showground.

From live entertainment to farm animals, demonstrations to hands-on workshops, families enjoyed a day of fun at the annual event.

Organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, this was the fifth Springtime Live which is held to promote food, farming and the countryside.

Charles Mills, Show Director, said: “It’s been a fantastic day with plenty of fun activities for the youngsters who have been able to get up close to farming animals as well as enjoying hands on activities and entertainment.”

■ The Yorkshire Reporter Mini Tots had a wonderful day

Our Yorkshire Reporter Mini Tots attended the event and had a great time seeing all the farm animals, getting their faces painted, holding baby chicks, having donkey rides and dancing along to Mr Bloom, among many other things during the day.
