Crossgates Shopping Centre

What's On

Crossgates Shopping Centre is entertaining the kids all summer with six weeks of fun-filled activity.

Entitled ‘Crossgates Summer Jollies’, the weekly Friday activities range from ferret racing on Yorkshire Day (1 August) to a knights and wizard party, featuring a meet and greet with Mike the Knight and Evie. Participating children will receive a ‘Crossgates Passport’ and collect a stamp every time they participate. This can be collected between 1st and 7th August if you quote Yorkshire Reporter. If they have five or more stamps at the end of the summer then they’ll receive a Crossgates activity pack as a thank you.

Sophie Stephenson, marketing manager at Crossgates Shopping Centre, said: “As well as providing our younger shoppers with fun and unusual activities to get their teeth into, we wanted to recognise the children that come back week after week, that’s why we’re giving away a back-to-school prize at the end of the summer.

The full calendar of activity features:

– Friday 1 August – Yorkshire Day Celebrations

– Friday 8 August – Knights and Wizards Party

– Friday 15 August – T-shirt Decorating

– Friday 22 August – Forestry Fun (recycling workshop)

– Friday 29 August – Modroc Crafts

All activity runs from 11am-3pm. For more information or to sign up visit www.crossgatessummerjollies.co.uk or contact sophie@crossgatesshopping.co.uk
