Cash for Kids have launched its ‘Superhero Day’ campaign on Radio Aire in Leeds. Cash for Kids’ Superhero Day is a National fundraising campaign running across all 21 Cash for Kids sites. Supporters are asked to dress up, fundraise and donate on Friday 4th May. All the money raised will stay in the local community within which it is raised.
They are asking people to sign up their school, college, university, business or place of work and to dress up in a superhero outfit and join in! This is a chance for people in Leeds and West Yorkshire to reveal the superhero in them and to make a real difference to local kids with disabilities and disadvantaged children.
What you choose to do can be as wacky as you want: from locking up your boss, holding a super quiz, a onesie day, or holding a superhero dress up day at your nursery or school. You could even do a challenge and get sponsored by your family, work colleagues and friends.The wackier your idea, the better and no contribution is too small – if we all work together we can make a huge difference to local children.

Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids are also running an online auction to raise funds, which launches on 27th April and runs until the 8th May. There’s everything from overnight stays, cocktails masterclass, fantastic meals and concert tickets etc.
Reed Rains Estate Agents have partnered with Cash for Kids for the second year running and have already started raising funds in the branches. The different branches are competing to see who can raise the most, so make sure you pop in to see what they are up to.
