Barratt Developments Donate Cheque To Middleton Equestrian Centre

Charity

Middleton Park Equestrian Centre has received a generous donation of £500 from Barratt Developments West Yorkshire.

The centre was opened in 1991 and they are one of the biggest Centres in the north.

They hold riding and carriage driving sessions for people with a variety of disabilities and for some this is their only activity. Therapeutic riding or equine assisted therapy is beneficial for children and adults with a wide range of cognitive, physical and emotional conditions.

Martin Purdy, Commercial Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said:

“We’re always looking for ways we can support the communities in which we build, and we’re keen to contribute to organisations which are dedicated to improving the lives of people in our region. Middleton Equestrian Centre gives local people with disabilities the chance to experience the joy of being around horses and riding, something that they may not have been able to do otherwise. We’re delighted to be able to help such a fantastic local organisation with our donation.”
