Established training providers in2wrk have opened a new learning centre in Pudsey, to deliver free English, maths and IT courses to people in the area.
For more than a decade, in2wrk have been delivering life-changing qualifications across the north of England, to jobseekers and people who want to upskill and improve their career prospects. And now people in Pudsey will be able to benefit from the free training, after the opening of a new learning centre at Kingswood House on Richardshaw Lane.
Speaking after the opening of the learning centre, Managing Director Richard Hallam was keen to explain why Pudsey was the place he chose over other locations in the region.
“We’re very proud of the people we help across all of our centres so far, but in 2018 we want to help even more – and we see this new centre in Pudsey as a way of doing that,” Richard said.
“In the last 12 months, in2wrk delivered almost 800 qualifications to people in West Yorkshire and helped 50% of the people who completed training with us find work, become an apprentice or continue into further education – and this is great news to people in Pudsey who would like to enhance their career prospects.
“We’ve been helping people in West Yorkshire for a few years now, but we’re delighted to be making a difference to the lives of people in Pudsey,” Richard explained.
As well as giving people a chance to gain qualifications that employers are asking for, the courses also improve people’s literacy, numeracy, digital skills and the learner’s everyday lives.
“Whatever your situation – whether you’re currently unemployed or want to learn new skills to take the next step in your professional development – we can help at in2wrk Pudsey,” Richard added.
