How to Export from WordPress:
📰 For Posts (4 years at a time):
- 1. Go to WordPress Admin → Tools → Export
- 2. Select "Posts"
- 3. Set date range: 4 years at a time
- • 2021-2024: Jan 1, 2021 → Dec 31, 2024
- • 2017-2020: Jan 1, 2017 → Dec 31, 2020
- • 2013-2016: Jan 1, 2013 → Dec 31, 2016
- 4. Click Download Export File
- 5. Upload the XML file below
🖼️ For Media/Images (1 year at a time):
- 1. Go to WordPress Admin → Tools → Export
- 2. Select "Media"
- 3. Set date range: 1 year at a time
- • 2024: Jan 1, 2024 → Dec 31, 2024
- • 2023: Jan 1, 2023 → Dec 31, 2023
- • etc...
- 4. Click Download Export File
- 5. Upload each media XML file separately
Pro Tip: Start with the most recent years first. This ensures your latest content is available immediately!
⚠️ File Size Limit: Files over 2MB will be automatically processed in chunks. This takes longer but prevents crashes.
