The Big Bathroom Shop on York Road first opened its doors in September 2005 and since then has gone from strength to strength. The stores create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which to shop. There is a lounge area where refreshments will happily be provided, and even a children’s play area with PlayStations to keep the kids happy while you browse and make important decisions about your home. All the displays are created in life like sized rooms to help you visualise your space, with an emphasis on being able to ‘see what you get’.
Open seven days a week, the stores set out originally to specialise in design and planning to optimise space in bathroom installation. This is still a much valued service on offer today. There is always a full design team on hand who offer both in store planning and home visits.
The teams in both York Road and Pudsey are highly experienced experts in their field who have been with the company from the very start. Richard himself still works on the front counter in the York Road branch, and customers at Pudsey can benefit from the experience of planner and designer Lee, and installer Peter who have both been in the industry for 20 years.
On offer at the showrooms are a wide range of bathrooms to suit any budget and taste. From simple toilets to steam cabins with radios and lights, you are sure to find what you are looking for at The Big Bathroom Shop. One of the things the company specialise in is the ‘bath out, shower in’ conversion which can be an ideal solution for small spaces or to help with mobility issues. This full plan, design and installation service starts from just £1695.
Two years ago, the company opened their kitchen department. Taking advantage of their own East Leeds factory, made to measure kitchens can be built by their dedicated team to solve problems with the shape and space available in your kitchen area. Because they are built in-house the kitchens can be produced to any shape, colour, style and design to suit your individual requirements.
In the same factory, The Big Bathroom Shop can also manufacture wardrobes. All their wardrobe units are 18mm soft close, rigid built, providing that peace of mind that you are purchasing top quality products produced just for you. The store are currently offering customers a 3 metre run of wardrobes supplied and fitted for just £1250 which is proving to be very popular.
