The Raglan Suite in Harrogate provides advanced dentistry and facial aesthetics to clients in their people focused practice. Originally a corporate company, the seven directors – Dr. Antony Bellaries, Dr. Steve Byfield, Dr. Tim Doswell, Dr. Kim Taylor, Dr. Wendy Cole, Dr. Geoff Baggaley and Mr. Chris Egan bought the practice in December 2012.
The directors, as indeed all the clinicians here, have undertaken extensive post-graduate training in their particular area of expertise, ensuring whatever your treatment need, they can cater for it.
The company believes that the strength of the practice is the team – whether clinical or non- clinical, all members of staff work hard to provide you with the best possible care. The clinicians have a long standing, well established reputation for providing the highest quality of care in advanced dentistry. The Raglan Suite also has two devoted treatment coordinators, Lucy and Kelly, who guide patients throughout their treatment. They are the patients’ first point of contact if they have any queries or worries.

The practice supports general and specialist dentists in areas of dentistry which are outside their field of practice, and is one of the biggest referral practices in Yorkshire.
Dentists refer their patients to The Raglan Suite because of the high standards of care they can expect to receive. The Practice has a range of high tech equipment such as Digital CT Scanners (3D imaging), OPG Machines (2D imaging) and intra oral imaging at its disposal which ensures that patients receive the best care using the best equipment available.
All staff are committed to following the Infection Control Policy of the company to make sure both patients and staff are safe at The Raglan Suite. Despite being a major referral practice, you do not have to be referred by your regular dentist to have treatment here, and are always welcome to book a consultation.
The majority of work carried out at The Raglan Suite is Dental Implants but the clinicians also provide treatment that is within their own fields of expertise, which are;
• Facial Aesthetics – lip enhancement, non-surgical face lifts, botulinum toxin

Mr. Chris Egan is one of the directors at The Raglan Suite whose area of expertise is in Dentures. Chris qualified as a registered dental technician in 1984 at Leeds College for Dental Technology and became manager of the prosthetics department in which he was already working. He set up Egan Dental Lab in 2002 which now provides private dentures for some of the top dentists in the country. Chris is also a world opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivadent, a company that provides a range of products and systems for dentists and dental technicians. He then gained his Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology at the Royal College of Surgeons London. Chris began work at The Raglan Suite in 2010 for the previous owner and then went on to buy out the company in 2012 with the six other directors.
Chris will treat you from the first consultation, then through every treatment stage of denture construction to provide you with a complete bespoke treatment for your dentures. When asked why he became a Clinical Dental Technician he said ‘I realised I enjoyed interaction with the patients and found it incredibly satisfying providing them with better quality dentures’.

• Full upper or lower acrylic (also known as BPS- Biofunctional Prosthetic System which is something Chris has used for 30 years and has spent time promoting all over the UK)
