LEEDS MP STUART ANDREW ATTENDS HORSFORTH MURAL UNVEILING

Local News

Stuart Andrew, MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough, attended the unveiling of a mural celebrating local sporting heroes at the Leeds Hub Library. The mural, depicting the Browlee Brothers and David Stone, was painstakingly put together by the Howard Carlisle Water Colour School and in particular Howard Carlisle himself.

The project, which has been ongoing since 2013, will provide a wow factor for the Library and has been supported by private individual donors from Horsforth in Bloom.

Stuart Andrew MP said:

“It’s great to see such inspiring art by talented local artists depicting talented local athletes. Howard and the pupils at the school have worked so hard to really provide the Hub with an amazing point of interest. I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of this project.

I hope everyone will take the time to have a look and I hope that when they do they feel the great sense of pride in our local talent. I know I do attending the unveiling of this inspirational work.”
