Can you offer a safe loving home to a rescue Cat or Kitten?

Wagging Tales

Leeds Cat Rescue is a voluntary organisation which means we get no funding from any organisation. It is run by a group of cat loving volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome.

All Cats and Kittens re-homed by Leeds Cat Rescue will be fully vaccinated, neutered, treated for fleas and worms, and micro chipped.

Our Cats and Kittens are fostered in homes, therefore we are able to see how they behave in a home, how friendly or timid they may be, and they are treated as family pets until rehomed so that we can get to know the personality of each and every one of them. This means that we can best match the Cat to the new owner and their family home.

While most people seem to want to adopt Kittens, it is well worth considering homing an older Cat if their personality matches what you are looking for, although they may not be little anymore, they can still be cute and still need a secure and loving home, especially if they have been mistreated or abandoned.

These handsome Boys came in to our care when they were 4 months old. They are now 16 months old. They have very different personalities! But both very sweet natured and have a very strong bond. People are sometimes put off by black or black and white cats, which has made them more difficult to rehome? But all they need is the right family with a little time & patience.

We are extremely grateful for any donations, every single penny goes straight to helping the Cats & Kittens. If you would like to help we have a ‘Wish List’ at amazon.co.uk if you would like to make a contribution of food, toys or essentials. These will be delivered directly to us but every donation counts and we are grateful for everything.
We cannot stress enough how important it is that you have your Cat neutered. There are hundreds of thousands of unwanted Cats in need of homes, because Cats are having unwanted litters. Being a responsible owner and neutering your Cat stops them from adding to this problem. It also reduces the risk of our pets developing some serious diseases. This can help them live longer and enjoy a better quality of life.

We offer a low cost neutering service for anybody on a low income, please contact us for more information.
